Melinda French Gates Launches $250 Million Fund for Women’s Health

The fund, titled “Action for Women’s Health,” launched through Pivotal Ventures, highlights that women’s health has been historically underfunded and misunderstood, contributing to health inequities. Gates emphasises the need to address barriers to women’s health, stating that numerous organisations worldwide are already working towards this goal. The fund aims to provide these organisations with the attention and financial support they need, encouraging them to apply for a share of the funding.
