Dialog Axiata PLC has appointed Vish Govindasamy as an Independent, Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 October 2024. Govindasamy currently holds executive roles at Sunshine Holdings PLC and Watawala Plantations PLC, where he serves as Deputy Chairman and director of various subsidiaries. Additionally, he serves as an Independent, Non-Executive Director at Softlogic Life Insurance PLC, TAL Lanka Hotels PLC, United Motors Lanka PLC, and the 1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation.

His contributions extend beyond the corporate sector, having played significant roles in Sri Lanka’s economy. He is a member of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka’s Governing Board and has held leadership positions at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Employers Federation of Ceylon. Govindasamy holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hartford, USA, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers in Sri Lanka.
