Dr Gitanjali Chakravarthy has been re-elected President of the Sri Lanka Hospitality Graduates Association (SLHGA) for a second consecutive term at its 55th Annual General Meeting.

The association’s first woman President, Dr Chakravarthy brings over three decades of local and international hospitality experience, including senior roles with Mövenpick, Taj and COMO Hotels and Resorts.

Currently General Manager of Hilton Yala Resort, she previously served as Senior Lecturer and Head of Housekeeping Management at the Ceylon Hotel School.

Her continued leadership is expected to strengthen professional development, industry collaboration, mentorship and opportunities for emerging hospitality professionals across Sri Lanka.
