Sri Lankan entrepreneur Denham Marlon Ferreira, Founder and Managing Director of Exterminators PLC, has secured United Kingdom trademark registration for the PACCP-X figurative mark as the framework expands internationally.
Registered through the UK Intellectual Property Office under number UK00004413460, the trademark is held personally by Ferreira and covers pest control and termite control services.
Developed around prevention, prediction and protection, PACCP-X helps teams evaluate pest risks, investigate underlying causes and select appropriate interventions. Its seven areas include pest intelligence, root cause analysis, containment, control optimisation, preventive control points, predictive analytics and continuous improvement.
In Sri Lanka, the framework supports PESTMAC 3G for food businesses, bringing together targeted treatments, monitoring, risk assessments and digital reporting. It also underpins HotelGuard 360, which addresses pest risks within hospitality operations, including guest areas, food environments, property, water and biosecurity.
Sentario UK Limited, working in technical collaboration with Exterminators PLC, has launched PACCP-X Maldives Resorts. The programme provides staff training, digital monitoring, specialist assistance, pest risk reporting and a Resort Readiness Review.
Training programmes and workshops have already been conducted at Sri Lankan organisations, with successful assessment participants receiving PACCP-X Level 1 certificates.
Ferreira is also inviting pest management businesses in eligible markets beyond Sri Lanka, the Maldives and the UK to explore licensing and training arrangements. These remain subject to local brand clearance and agreed conditions.
During October 2026, the company is offering food businesses and hotels complimentary assessments using the framework, providing reports that identify pest risks and support decisions about preventive action within their operations.
