Pan Asia Bank’s Rs. 5 Billion Debenture Issue Oversubscribed

Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC’s debenture issue of up to Rs. 5 billion was oversubscribed upon opening, reflecting strong investor interest.

The senior listed rated unsecured redeemable debentures have a par value of Rs. 100 each and will be listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange.

Three-year debentures offer annual interest of 12.75%, while five-year debentures offer 13.50%, with interest payable annually.

Lanka Rating Agency assigned the issue a BBB+ rating with a stable outlook.

Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC’s Investment Banking Unit managed the issue, while SSP Corporate Services (Private) Limited served as registrar.

Pan Asia Bank said the response demonstrated continued investor confidence in its commitment to creating long-term stakeholder value.

The bank continues supporting individuals and businesses while contributing to the development of Sri Lanka’s wider economy.
