DFCC Bank Completes Migration of Standard Chartered Sri Lanka’s Wealth and Retail Banking Business

Published on

DFCC Bank has announced the successful completion of the migration of Standard Chartered Sri Lanka’s Wealth and Retail Banking business, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s expansion of its consumer banking operations.

Following the transition, customers can continue using their existing account numbers, cards, card numbers and PINs, helping ensure continuity across essential banking services. Regular payment arrangements will also remain in place, while saved payees and beneficiaries have been transferred as part of the migration.

Customers holding fixed deposits will retain their existing terms until maturity. DFCC Bank has also confirmed continuity in familiar branch and relationship management arrangements, supporting a smoother transition for customers moving to the bank.

The migration provides customers with access to DFCC Bank’s wider banking infrastructure, including more than 130 branches across Sri Lanka and over 5,000 ATMs through the LankaPay network.

Digital banking services will also be available through DFCC ONE and DFCC iConnect, further extending access to banking facilities.

The completion of the migration follows DFCC Bank’s acquisition of Standard Chartered Sri Lanka’s Wealth and Retail Banking business and represents an important step in strengthening DFCC’s position within Sri Lanka’s competitive financial services sector.
