The collaboration will leverage Citi’s extensive international network across more than 180 countries and territories to connect high quality global investors with investment opportunities in Thailand’s priority sectors. According to the Bangkok Post, in a report by Tera FM, the initiative is designed to strengthen Thailand’s long term economic growth by attracting strategic foreign investment and enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment, said Thailand continues to benefit from its strategic location, strong infrastructure, skilled workforce and competitive investment incentives. He noted that closer collaboration with Citi will further enhance the country’s ability to attract investment into strategic industries including biotechnology, advanced electronics, semiconductors, automotive manufacturing, digital technology, aerospace, renewable energy and humanoid robotics.
