Acendae Rebrands and Expands Sri Lankan AI Engineering Operations to Drive European Growth

Published on

Netherlands based technology company Acendae has announced a major rebranding initiative alongside the expansion of its Sri Lankan engineering and design operations, reinforcing the country’s growing role as a strategic hub for artificial intelligence driven software development serving European markets.

The expansion forms part of Acendae’s broader European growth strategy, with the company continuing to provide embedded engineering teams to startups, scaleups and digital agencies across the continent. By strengthening its presence in Sri Lanka, Acendae aims to enhance its distributed engineering capabilities while investing in long term talent development and innovation.

Commenting on the initiative, Pramuka Godakanda, Chief Executive Officer of Acendae, said the software industry is rapidly transitioning towards AI first engineering environments, requiring organisations to rethink how software products are designed, developed and delivered. He noted that the company’s long term strategy is focused on building engineering teams capable of thriving in this new technology landscape.

The company believes Sri Lanka offers a highly skilled talent pool capable of supporting international businesses seeking AI enabled engineering expertise. Rather than pursuing rapid short term expansion, Acendae said it remains committed to developing sustainable capabilities that will strengthen collaboration between its European clients and Sri Lankan professionals.

The move reflects the increasing global demand for AI integrated software engineering and positions Sri Lanka as an important destination for high value technology services. As European companies accelerate digital transformation, Acendae expects its enhanced Sri Lankan operations to play a pivotal role in delivering innovative engineering solutions while creating new opportunities for local technology professionals.
