Sri Lanka Expo 2027 Extends Exhibitor Registration Until 31 July to Expand Global Trade Opportunities

Published on

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, has announced that online exhibitor registration for Sri Lanka Expo 2027 will remain open until 31 July 2026, providing additional time for exporters and export-oriented businesses to participate in the country’s flagship international trade exhibition.

Scheduled to take place from 14 to 17 January 2027 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo, Sri Lanka Expo 2027 is expected to serve as a major platform for showcasing the country’s export capabilities while strengthening international trade and investment partnerships.

The exhibition is expected to attract more than 1,500 international buyers and investors, offering Sri Lankan exporters valuable opportunities to engage in pre-arranged business meetings, establish new commercial relationships, and expand access to global markets. A total of 650 exhibition booths have been allocated across 25 export sectors, including industrial products, agricultural products, and export services, reflecting the diversity and strength of Sri Lanka’s export economy.

Eligible participants include established exporters as well as companies with export potential. Given the limited exhibition space, applications will undergo a screening process to identify qualified exhibitors capable of representing Sri Lanka’s products and services on the global stage.

The EDB has encouraged interested businesses to complete their registrations before the extended deadline, emphasising that Sri Lanka Expo 2027 represents a significant national initiative to enhance export growth, attract foreign investment, and reinforce the country’s position as a competitive trading hub in the region.
