Softlogic Capital PLC has appointed Imran Furkan to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, further strengthening the company’s governance and strategic leadership with the addition of a highly experienced corporate leader.
Furkan is widely recognised for advising boards and chief executives on corporate strategy, market expansion, and the management of geopolitical, economic, climate, and technology-related risks. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Tresync, Australia, and has built an extensive career spanning finance, healthcare, retail, information technology, education, commodities, media, and professional services across the Asia-Pacific region.
In addition to his new role at Softlogic Capital, Furkan serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at several leading Sri Lankan listed companies and has previously held senior leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of SLASSCOM and the Sri Lanka Press Institute. He is also a Fellow of CPA Australia and CIMA UK and holds postgraduate and undergraduate qualifications from Australian and UK institutions.
The appointment reflects Softlogic Capital’s continued commitment to enhancing board expertise, strengthening corporate governance, and supporting its long-term strategic growth agenda.
