Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron are set to jointly inaugurate Bharat Innovates, a major global deep technology showcase, in Nice, France, as part of efforts to strengthen innovation and technology collaboration between India and Europe.
The three-day event will feature more than 120 start-ups and innovators, providing a platform for emerging companies to attract international partnerships, investment opportunities, and technological collaborations. Bharat Innovates was announced during President Macron’s visit to India earlier this year under the India–France Year of Innovation initiative.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit forms part of his European tour, which includes engagements in France and Slovakia. During his stay in France, he will also participate in the G7 Summit in Evian as an invited leader, marking India’s continued engagement with major global economies.
The launch of Bharat Innovates highlights the growing emphasis on deep technology, innovation-driven entrepreneurship, and international cooperation, reinforcing the strategic partnership between India and France while promoting the next generation of global technology leaders.
