Central Bank’s Rs. 2000 Note Enters Circulation

The Central Bank announced that its Rs. 2000 commemorative currency note, issued on 29 August to mark its 75th anniversary, is being gradually released through Licensed Commercial Banks. Banks are calibrating machines, ensuring smooth circulation. Public cooperation is requested.
